Seeds of Silver started as a way to incorporate the two degrees that I studied at University: Science and Fine Arts. I was struggling to find a way I could combine both passions and I grew to love jewellery making when I completed a minor in the subject.
One of my favourite parts of my process is collecting the seeds and leaves and identifying them. It reminds me of the field work I did in my science degree.
My intention is to create jewellery that is worn as a daily reminder of our connection with nature. Through connecting with nature we are able to more deeply connect to ourselves.
Meet The maker
My name is Rebecca and I make all of the jewellery at Seeds of Silver. My favourite things in life are walks in nature, creating, stargazing, cats, vegan food, and the beach.
I am passionate about conservation and sustainability, so it is important to me that I use sustainable materials and processes for the production and packaging of my jewellery.
