sold out

This unique pendant was cast from Neptune's Necklace seaweed (Hormosira banksii). Neptune's Necklace is a very common seaweed in Sydney, and other parts of temperate Australia forming part of the Great Southern Reef. You may recognise it from low tide zones at the beach, like in rock pools. The unique shape is a perfect statement necklace, especially on a longer chain. Each piece is different as they are only cast once using the ancient technique of lost wax casting. We handmade these in our Sydney Studio from recycled sterling silver, and hope that you will enjoy wearing your piece of the sea.

The necklace you will receive is the one pictured. It comes on a 14” chain with a 2” extension.

Collection Site: Dharawal Country (Cronulla Beach, Australia)

Species: Scientific name - Hormosira banksii, Common names - Neptune's Necklace, Bubbleweed and Sea Grapes

Please allow 2-3 business days for dispatch.
