This is a perfect miss match pair of earrings. One was cast from the fruit of the Salmon Gum tree (Eucalyptus salmonophloia). The other was cast from the Coastal Tea Tree plant (Leptospermum laevigatum) is found along the coast. These particular ones have been collected from Narrabeen and Balmoral Beach in NSW.
Each seed is different as they are only cast once using the ancient technique of lost wax casting. Eucalyptus trees are seen as nurturing trees and are believed to offer healing and protection.
